Who we are

In a small corner of Albany, Louisiana, you’ll find Anthony “Cornbread” Howell — a man whose hands have built a lifetime of hard work, laughter, and quiet faith. Whether it’s fixing something around the house or spending dawn on the water, Cornbread believes in doing everything with purpose. After years of long shifts and providing for his family, he decided it was time to cast a new kind of line — one tied to passion, faith, and family. That dream became FaithCast Lures, a small-batch soft plastic bait company built on the simple belief that there’s faith in every cast you throw.

It’s not every day a father decides to chase a new dream at 53, but Cornbread never wanted his kids to see him sitting on the sidelines of life. He believes in leading by example — showing that with faith, family, and a little elbow grease, anything is possible. When he’s not juggling two jobs, you’ll find him in the shop perfecting the next lure or cracking one of his famous dad jokes. (His current favorite? “Why don’t fish do well in school? Because they’re always swimming below ‘sea’ level.”) Around here, FaithCast isn’t just about catching fish — it’s about catching moments, laughter, and proof that it’s never too late to follow your calling.
